Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Meet our representative upon arrival in Leh airport & on arrival check in at your pre booked hotel. Day at leisure to acclimatize. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing

After breakfast, we drive on the Srinagar highway and visit the hall of fame – museum constructed by the Indian army, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Later we experience the magnetic hill which defies the law of gravity. We stop at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers and drive back to the hotel in Leh. Return to hotel & overnight stay.

Day 3: Excursion to Khardung La Pass (5600 m / 48 kms.)

After breakfast, drive to Khardungla la – the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. The narrow dirt road to reach the pass was built in 1976 and it was opened to motor vehicles in 1988. The pass believed to be the highest vehicle-access pass in the world, and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. Enjoy the views from the top and then return to the hotel for hot lunch. Rest of the day is at leisure or you can go for shopping in local market. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 4: Leh – Pangong – Leh (140 kms. / 4.5 Hrs. One way)

After breakfast, drive to Pangong through changla pass 5486 mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km in length. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and the environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening is at leisure and overnight stay at Leh hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh airport for your onward journey.

Important Information

  • The itinerary can be altered at any point of time due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond our control.
  • Leh and remote areas have regular power outages. Don’t expect 24hrs electricity
  • People from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Myanmar and Bhutan cannot travel to restricted areas outside Leh such as Nubra Valley, Pangong, and Tsomoriri etc. Nationals of countries other than these can travel to Ladakh provided they don’t have a Diplomatic passport.
  • If a vehicle is used for shopping, visiting markets and restaurants, then there will be extra charges
  • It is mandatory for all guests carry valid photo IDs (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID
  • Connectivity (phone as well as internet) is poor and unreliable in Ladakh. Most hotels will not have a Wi-Fi connection
  • Only vegetarian meals are served at Nubra and Pangong. Non vegetarian meals are served at Leh in Dinner.
